Replacing the
Consumables
Replace the pick roller in following procedure.
1 Remove all documents from the ADF paper chute.
2 Remove the ADF paper chute.
Hold both ends of the ADF paper chute and lift it up slightly (1), then
pull it out in the direction of the arrow (
2).
3 Open the ADF.
For details, refer to "1.4 Opening/Closing the ADF" (page 19).
4 Remove the sheet guide.
Hold the pickup tabs on both ends of the sheet guide and pull it out as
you push the tabs inwards.
5 Rotate the bushing (left).
7.3 Replacing the Pick Roller
Be careful not to have your fingers caught
when the ADF closes.
