Fixing the ADF
Fix the ADF in place with the ADF lock screws so that the ADF
is not damaged during transport.
The procedure for fixing the ADF in place is as follows:
1 Turn off the scanner.
2 Remove the ADF paper chute (feeder), stacker, and
cables.
For details, refer to step 3 in " Fixing the Transport Lock" (page 217).
3 Move the ADF to the left side.
4 Open the document cover.
For details, refer to "1.5 Opening/Closing the Document Cover [fi-
7700/fi-7700S]" (page 25).
5 Remove the two ADF lock screws from the lock screw
storage holes and attach them to the points to lock the
ADF.
