Installing/removing the server in/from the rack Hardware installation

Ê Extend the telescopic rail fully (1).
Ê Unlock and remove the server rail.
With fully-extendable rails (a): Press the locking lever to release the server
rail.
With partially extendable rails (b): Press the release spring to release the
server rail.
Ê Repeat both steps with the second telescopic rail.
I No nuts are required to secure the telescopic rails as the fixing holes on
the rails are threaded.
