SIM card
A SIM Card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a chip card which is inserted in
a mobile telephone or notebook a nd, together with an integrated UMTS/LTE
module, en ables access to a mobile radio net work.
Follow the instructions supplied by the provider of the SIM card.
Inserting a SIM card
► Remove the rechargeable battery, see "Removing a battery", Page 46.

► Remove the SIM card carrier from
its location (1).
► Insert the SIM card (2) in the SIM
card carrier as shown symbolically on
the SIM card carrier.
► Push the SIM c a rd carrier back into
its location (3).
► Install the rechargeable bat tery again, see "
Installing a battery", Page 48.
