ENGINE STARTING PERFORMANCE AND
ABNORMAL NOISE
Check the engine starting performance and
abnormal noise.
ENGINE SPEED
After the engine has warmed up, check the
engine idling speed.
EXHAUST CONDITION
After the engine has warmed up, verify that
black smoking and any other abnormal exhaust
are not emitted during idling and acceleration.
7. MANIFOLD BOLTS, NUTS AND ENGINE
SUPPORT BOLTS
Check that the inlet and exhaust manifold bolts,
nuts and engine support bolts are tightened to
specifications. If not, tighten them to specifica-
tions.
Engine idling speed 650 rpm
Tightening intervals
Every 50,000 km (30,000 miles)
