5.3.4 Hydraulic Boost Failure Compensation
(HBC)
When the vacuum booster fails, the HBC function
can compensate for the temporary vacuum
shortage caused by the vacuum failure and
increase the brake pressure. Mean
while the
instrument cluster will indicate “Please Check
HBC”. In this case, please contact the GAC Motor
authorized shop for inspection as soon as
possible.
