3.1 Safe driving
3.1.1 General instructions
This section introduces important information,
operating essentials, recommendations and safety
precautions for safe driving. For the safety of you
and the passengers, please read carefully and
follow the relevant regulations.
NOTE
Please always bring the Owner’s Manual with
the car. If you lend or resell the car to someone
else, be sure to hand the complete set of
accompanying documents over to the new
owner.
The following inspection must
be carried out
before driving:
– Check that all lamps are working properly.
– Check that the fuel level is normal.
– Check that the coolant level is normal.
– Check that the brake fluid level is normal.
– Check that the windshield washer fluid level is
normal.
– Check that the tire pressure is normal.
– Check that all windows are clear and have a
good view.
– Check that no objects obstruct the movement
of the driver's foot pedal.
– Adjust the seat, head restraint and rear-view
mirror according to body height and shape.
– Use appropriate child safety seats to protect
children and help them fasten the seat belts
correctly.
– Fasten the seat belt correctly and remind all
passengers in the car to fasten the seat belts
correctly.
– Check that the surrounding env
ironment is
safe.
WARNING
When installing the driver's floor mat, please
observe the following precautions:
• Do not overlap two or more floor mats.
•
Do not make the bottom surface of the
floor mat upward or back-to-front.
• Do not use floor mats that is
incompatible with this car model.
NOTE
•
Do not distract yourself from external
factors during driving.
•
Do not drive the car when your response
capability reduces, such as due to
medicines, alcohol, or drugs.
• Strictly abide by traffic regulations.
