Increase of cruising sp
eed
To increase the car speed, please perform the
following operations:
Depress the accelerator pedal to increase the
car speed to a desired value, and press the
SET/- button to cruise at a higher set speed.
Press the RES/+ button once, after which the
car speed will be increased by 1km/h.
Press and hold the RES/+ button, after which
the cruising speed will continue increasing at
5 km/h until the button is released.
NOTE
120 km/h.
for acceleration, the car will temporarily exit
pedal
cruise control.
Reduction of cruising speed
To reduce the car speed, please perform the
following operations:
If the SET/- button is pressed once, the car
speed will be decreased by 1km/h.
Press and hold the SET/- button, after which
the cruising speed will continue decreasing at
5 km/h until the button is released or the
cruising speed is 30 km/h. If the button is
released, the car will remain at a lower speed.
Adjustment of the distance from the vehicle in
front when ACC is started
After the engine start/stop button is placed at "ON"
position, when ACC is turned on, the default
distance from the vehicle in front is of fourth gear
(the following distance of fourth gear is farthest).
By pressing the button, the gear of the distance
from the vehicle in front can be shifted recurrently
in the order of “fourth gear → third gear → second
gear first gear fourth gear...”. At the same
time, the cruising distance indicator lamp
in
the instrument cluster will display the same
number of cross bars as the ordinal number of the
gear.
Activation of ACC after following stop
In the process of following a vehicle in front, the
car will also be stopped if the vehicle in front is
stopped. During a period of following stop, ACC
wil
l keep the car stationary by active
pressurization of ESP; after a period of time, ACC
will keep the car stationary by starting EPB. When
the vehicle in front leaves, ACC of the car can be
activated in three situations:
1. If the indicator lamp is green,
after the
vehicle in front leaves, ACC can be reset
actively and re-drive the car;
2. If the indicator lamp turns white and EPB
is not activated, ACC can be reset actively
and re-
drive the car by pressing the RES/+
button or depressing the accelerator pedal;
3. If the indicator lamp turns white and EPB
is activated, ACC can be reset and re-drive
the car by depressing the accelerator pedal
first, waiting for EPB to be automatically
released, and then pressing the RES/+
button.
