• Hardwire: This means that
the ECG signal is being
acquired from a cable
attached to the patient and
connected to a bedside
monitor.
• Telemetry: This means that
the ECG signal is being
acquired from a telemetry
transmitter/transceiver. This
patient is able to ambulate
without being limited by a
cable.
• TTX: Refers to a telemetry
transmitter/transceiver.
