7.) Set exposure techniques as: SID 150cm; 60kV; 5mAs.
8.) Take exposure 5 times for each exposure mode (Detector under the table and above the
table).
9.) After exposures done, view Raw Image with cobb tool at same location to compare the
average value.
10.) Compare the average values under the same kV to make sure there is no uniformity issue
caused by the table top.
11.) For the wall stand, follow the same procedure.
12.) Please contact the target system supplier if the uniformity issue is caused by the table top, wall
stand front panel or unsteady exposure.
Section 4.0
Acquisition Test
1.) Create a new patient. Select “chest” exam, AEC mode. Insert detector into detector housing.
Align the tube to detector. Open a suitable FOV. Check if there no exposure inhibit displayed.
2.) Press hand switch do an exposure.
3.) Close the exam.
Section 5.0
Regulatory Test
Brivo XR118 system meets all related requirements of IEC v3. Brivo XR118 is an upgrade kit and
has no x-ray generating mechanism, so only image processing related regulatory tests are
applicable (x-ray generating related regulatory tests are not applicable).
