Software Installation
8.1 Before You Begin
Potential for Data Loss. Archive all protocols, patient files, and backup calibration and configuration
data. It's recommended that a system backup be performed prior to any installation, upgrade or
restoration of software. The installation of software can destroy existing files, including patient,
calibration and configuration files. You might have to configure and calibrate your system, if you do
not have a good backup to restore!
Note: Configure the Time Zone after software re-installation or upgrade.
Note: The system is delivered with software installed. Only software configuration is required for the new
site installation.
8.2 System Data Backup

corrupted. After system installation, saved files can be restored in their original condition and
location.
