The following data is not included in a system backup:
Archival of Image Data - The process for archiving image data is found in the operators
manual.
Procedure Protocols - You only need to save the protocol data base (dBase) if you have made
changes to the default values. Defaults are always loaded during an SW installation. The
default protocol dBase is included with each system shipped. See the operators manual for
procedures.
8.2.2 Backup System Files
1.) From the application desktop, click on the Utilities icon.
2.) Click on [Launch] button.
3.) Select the [Utilities] Tab,
4.) Click on the plus sign preceding the System folder ICON, in the navigation frame.
5.) Click on [Backup] link,
6.) Media Selection - CD/DVD media and USB flash drives are now supported.
- USB flash drives must not contain any volume labels.
- Recommended USB flash size of 256mb or greater.
7.) Insert your media.
8.) Click on [Start],
9.) When backup is complete, you will see “Backup success” in the status bar.
10.) Remove CD/DVD from tray and label as “Cal/Config Backup” (include current date and time).
11.) Place CD/DVD in safe location for future use.
12.) Exit SUIF.
