2. Disconnect the power cord from the site receptacle and disconnect the PC adapter output from
the PC terminal.
3. Connected the alligator clip of the black test lead to power cord PE pin. Connected the alligator
clip of the red test lead to test point.
4. Record the protective earth resistance value. The protective earth resistance value should not be
greater than 0.3 Ω (300 mΩ).
4.5.7 Protective Earth Resistance Test Procedure
1) The PC adapter output shielding
2) After protective earth resistance test, reconnect the PC adapter output to PC terminal.
