Prepare the mixer
Before adding the liquids, make the following preparations:

Verify that the liquid addition lines are not kinked and are free from obstruc-
tions.

Verify that the liquid addition lines do not prevent the adjustment of the
disposable bag inside the mixer.

Verify that the clamp on the drain line is fully engaged.3
Remove the side access door from 500 and 1000 L mixers. Follow the instruc-
tions below:

Hold the door handle tightly.

Turn the door counterclockwise.
c
Remove the door.
Connect the liquid source to the addition line of the bag assembly.5
Tare the mixer weight, if your mixer has a weight monitoring option. See
Tare mixer weight, on page 225 for instructions.
