6.4.3 Autoclave probe sheath assembly
Conditions
The probe sheath assembly with inserted probe must be autoclaved.
The recommended conditions for autoclaving are as follows:
•
Temperature > 121°C
•
Time 60 min (minimum time 30 min)
•
Liquid cycle
NOTICE
The autoclaving temperature must not exceed 130°C.
NOTICE
Do not autoclave ratchet clamps.
Prepare for autoclaving
Before autoclaving the probe sheath assembly, prepare the following:
•
Disposable pipette
•
Deionized water
Follow the instructions below to prepare the probe sheath for autoclaving:
