contains information about how to rectify problems with the valve. It also
describes the personnel qualications required for the individual actions.
It is addressed to all persons who carry out actions related to the valve.

Malfunctions and remedies
In the
event of malfunctions, immediately deactivate the valve and secure it against in-
advertent reactivation. Malfunctions may only be remedied by qualied staff, who must
observe the safety precautions.

Valve closes too slowly O-rings in the actuator and con-
trol top are dry (friction losses)
Grease O-rings
Leakage in the area of the valve
housing
Housing O-rings defective Remove the valve, change the
housing O-rings
Leakage in the lantern Seal ring defective Replace the gasket
Leakage in the leakage cavity V-rings defective Replace the V-rings
