Why does my Geemarc IP Phone have interference during calls?

If you experience interference during a phone call on your Geemarc IP Phone, it could be due to several factors. The handset may be out of range, so try moving closer to the base. If you have high-speed internet (DSL), install a DSL filter between the base and the wall jack. Also, try moving the phone or base to another outlet and keep it away from electronic devices like routers, radios, cell phones, and appliances. Ensure the telephone base is centrally located, away from obstructions. If the issue persists, disconnect the base and plug in a corded phone to rule out wiring or service problems. Contact your telephone service provider if calls are still unclear (charges might apply).
