8.3.4 Set Alert Tones
A single beep is emitted when you press a key. You can turn on or off the key tone.
You can also turn on the alert tones when low battery and out of range are detected.
Low battery tone will be emitted while you are talking with the phone to alert you that
you need to charge up your battery.
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select HS SETTINGS.
2. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select TONE SETUP.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select KEY TONE / LOW BATT
/ OUT OF RANGE.
4. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select ON or OFF.
5. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
8.3.5 Select Base
If you have registered the handset to more than one base, you can select any one of
them to use with your handset.
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select HS SETTINGS.
2. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select SELECT BASE.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select the desired base with which
your handset operates.
4. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
8.3.6 Set the Handset Language
You can choose the language to be displayed on the handset screen from a total of
6 languages English, Français, Dutch, Italiano, Deutsch and Espanol.
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select HS SETTINGS.
2. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select LANGUAGE.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select your desired language.
4. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
8.3.7 Rename the Handset
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select HS SETTINGS.
2. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select RENAME HS.
Press LEFT SOFTKEY and enter the name of your handset. Press
RIGHT SOFTKEY to delete a character.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
