8.4 Base Settings using the Handset
8.4.1 Set the Ringer Melody
You can set special melody to personalize your base external ringer. A total of 5 melodies
are provided for your selection.
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and ▼/▲to select BS SETTINGS.
2. Press LEFT SOFTKEY
and ▼/▲to select BS RINGER.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and ▼/▲to select the desired ringer melody.
4. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
8.4.2 Ring Volume
You can set the ringer volume level. A total of 6 ringer volume levels including VOLUME
OFF are provided for your selection.
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and ▼/▲to select BS SETTINGS.
2. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and ▼/▲to select BS RINGER.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and ▼/▲to select the desired ringer melody.
4. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
8.4.3 De-register the handset
You are requested to enter the 4-digit PIN in order to de-register the handset from the
base station. The on the de-registered handset will be off.
NOTE:
You cannot de-register the handset that you are currently using.
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select BS SETTINGS.
2. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select DELETE HS.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and you are requested to enter the 4-digit system PIN
(0000 by default).
4. Enter the 4-digit system PIN.
5. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and a list of registered handsets will be displayed.
6. Press / to select one of the handsets that you want to de-register.
7. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
