8.5 Registration
Your handset and base station is pre-registered. Up to five handsets can be
registered to a single base station.
If for some reason, the handset is not registered to the base station ( flashes even
when the handset is near the base station), register your handset according to the
following procedure.
On the cordless handset:
1. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select REGISTRATION.
2. If you have more than one base, press LEFT SOFTKEY and / to select
the base number from BASE 1, BASE 2, BASE 3 and BASE 4. There will be a
behind the current registered base number.
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY to display “PIN?”, enter the 4-digit system PIN
for the base (default PIN is 0000).
4. Press LEFT SOFTKEY and the display will show “WAITING”.
5. At the same time, press and hold /HANDSET LOCATOR on the base to enter
the registration mode.
After a short delay, if the registration is successful, there will be a confirmation beep,
and the handset display will go back to idle mode with the new handset number
shown. The base display will also go back to idle mode.
