Troubleshooting
FC DOF REVERSE POWER ALARM The negative power alarm is active.
FC DOF INTERNAL EXERCISE ACTIVE Generator is currently running in exercise mode due to a
calendar command.
FC DOF RPM MISSING RPM sensing is reporting and RPM value too low for the
current run state.
The following Digital Output Functions reflect the associated internal fault states.
FC DOF IF GEN SWITCH TRIPPED Generator transfer switch opened unexpectedly.
FC DOF IF GEN SWITCH FAILED TO CLOSE The Generator Transfer Switch has failed to close at the
command.
FC DOF IF GEN SWITCH FAILED TO OPEN The Generator Transfer Switch has failed to open at the
command.
FC DOF IF UTIL SWITCH TRIPPED Utility transfer switch opened unexpectedly.
FC DOF IF UTIL SWITCH FAILED TO CLOSE The Utility Transfer Switch has failed to close at the
command.
FC DOF IF UTIL SWITCH FAILED TO OPEN The Utility Transfer Switch has failed to open at the
command.
FC DOF IF MCB FAILED TO OPEN x The Main Circuit Breaker has failed to OPEN at the
command. “x” can be number 1-4.
FC DOF IF MCB OPEN x The Main Circuit Breaker is OPEN (off bus). “x” can be
number 1-4.
FC DOF IF SYNCH FAULT VOLTAGE MATCH The generator failed to synchronize to a live source due to
voltage not matching.
FC DOF IF SYNCH FAULT FREQUENCY MATCH The generator failed to synchronize to a live source due to
frequency not matching.

The generator failed to synchronize to a live source due to
voltage phase angle not matching.
FC DOF IF NEGATIVE REAL POWER Generator shutdown for sinking too much power.
FC DOF IF CAN COMMS FAULT 1 Communication between CAN devices has failed on CAN
bus #1.
FC DOF IF CAN COMMS FAULT 2 Communication between CAN devices has failed on CAN
bus #2.
FC DOF IF CAN COMMS FAULT 3 Communication between CAN devices has failed on CAN
bus #3.
FC DOF IF ETHERNET COMMS FAULT Communication between Ethernet devices has failed.
FC DOF IF RS485 COMMS FAULT Communication between RS-485 devices has failed.
FC DOF IF HW OVERSPEED SHUTOFF Status of Hardware Overspeed Circuit causing a shutdown
of the generator.
FC DOF IF SYSTEM RESET OCCURRED xx Main controller reset has occurred. “xx” can be number 1-
10.
