Section 5 - Troubleshooting Flow Charts

Machine Will
Not Lift - AC
Models
Be sure the
keyswitch is in the
appropriate
position.
Be sure the
Emergency Stop
buttons are pulled
up to the on
position.
Be sure the power
light and all
interlock display
lights are on.
Be sure the ground
control box circuit
breaker has been
reset.
0V DC
Replace the P.C. board.
In ground control box,
check for power at
terminal 9 (red wire) of 13
pole terminal strip (J1).
Put Neg. lead of voltage
meter on terminal 10
(grounding terminal).
Check for power at
terminal 1 of Emergency
Stop switch contact in
platform control box. Put
Neg. lead of voltage
meter on terminal 10
(green/yellow wire) of 13
pole terminal strip [J1] in
base control box.
Replace 16/6 cable
because of open in red
wire OR repair open in
quick disconnect under
ground control box.
Emergency Stop switch
should be pulled up for
the contact to close.
Check for power at
terminal 2 of Emergency
Stop switch contact.
Replace Emergency Stop
switch N.C. contact
block.
Check for power at
terminal 4 of control
activate switch.
Re
lace red wire because
of open circuit between
Emergency Stop switch
contact block and control
activate switch contact
block.
While pushing in and
holding control activate
switch, check for power
at terminal 3 of control
activate switch contact.
Replace control activate
switch N.O. contact
block.
