THE PLATEN
Wipe the platen with a clean, lint-free pad moistened with isopropyl
alcohol to remove any debris. Allow to air dry before loading vinyl.
Refer to the figure to locate the areas to clean.
Cleaning the platen, bail arms, squeegees, and sprockets.
THE BAIL ARMS, SQUEEGEES, AND SPROCKETS
Wipe the bail arm squeegees and bail arms with a clean, lint-free cloth
moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Use a small brush, such as a
toothbrush, dipped in isopropyl alcohol to clean the sprockets. Allow to
air dry before loading vinyl. Refer to the figure to locate the areas to
clean.
Note: Isopropyl alcohol may discolor the squeegees over time. Discoloring does
not affect the operation of the squeegees.
