NOTE!
• Use only perforated trays.
• Goods must be completely clean and dry when placed in the
sterilizer chamber.
• Lubricated dental hand pieces shall be wrapped in a paper towel
to absorb any excess oil.
• When closing the door, make sure that nothing (e.g. bags etc) is
caught between the door and the chamber. Otherwise, operational
problems will occur.
• Items to be sterilized must be freely exposed; instruments and
packages shall not be piled on top of each other.
• Place moisture-sensitive items and low-mass items at the top in
the chamber.
• Place heavy items at the bottom in the chamber.
• Place empty containers (bottles, test tubes etc) with their opening
downwards.
• Fold bags in a way that water pockets are prevented.
• Place bags vertically, to assist run-off of condense. This makes the
process faster and eases the drying of the goods.
• Verify if chamber is clean before using the sterilizer (for cleaning
instruction see section Periodic Maintenance - page 20).
• Verify if door seal did not fell out and is pushed tight into groove at
whole circumference.
• Check that the water supply is open and that any demineralizing
equipment connected to the apparatus is operational.
• If the sterilizer has been turned off. Wait until “HEATING” is no longer
shown on the display (takes approximately 45 minutes) and run a fl ash
program without goods to heat the system.
• Liquids shall NEVER be sterilized.
• Only sterilize goods designed to be sterilized with steam in accordance
with the instrument manufacturer’s instructions.
