WARNING!
READ USER MANUAL:
This sterilizer must not be used in any other way than that specifi ed in this manual.
The sterilizer must not be used for any other materials than those specifi ed in the
“Process Description” section. All other uses are potentially hazardous.
NEVER strilize liquids.
Hazardous waste and explosive materials must never be sterilized in this sterilizer.
Only use loading equipment and accessories especially designed for the Getinge
HS33 and specifi ed in the Article list.
Technician (service) must provide training for the personnel who is used this sterilizer.
Be careful when closing the door, nger pinch can be possible use Personal
Protective Equipment.
HOT SURFACES:
The sterilizer uses hot water and steam, which have the potential of causing burns
or serious injuries. Wear personal protective equipment suitable for hot water and
steam. You should therefore exercise the greatest caution whenever working on the
sterilizer.
Note that the material is hot after being sterilized. Hot steam may ow out of the
sterilizer when the door is opened. When handling materials, loading and unloading
the sterilizer, keep in mind that the chamber and the area close to the chamber
opening, is very warm. When operating the door keep in mind that door surface may
be very warm, use Personal Protective Equipment
ELECTRICAL SAFETY:
The sterilizer must be connected to power supply by technician with documented
experience in accordance with the installation instructions and local safety codes.
External covers must only be removed by technician with documented experience.
Turn the sterilizer off by unplugging the power cable before all work that does not
require it to be on.
After work do not leave the sterilizer with the electric power supply on.
Do not touch cables or electrical equipment in the service area.
Do not touch defective device.
EXTERNAL LEAKAGE:
Leakage in the system, due to a worn door seal for example, must be repaired
without delay – contact a technician.
Do not try to open the door before the cycle is completed.
NOISE HAZARD:
Worn or damaged gasket can lead to unsealing (due to high pressure) during the
cycle, which can result in hearing impairment. Do not forget about annual gasket
replacement.
