PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
DAILY ROUTINE
END OF DAY ROUTINE
1. Close the door but do not lock.
2. Do not leave any goods in the chamber after the cycle is fi nished.
3. It is recommended to leave the sterilizer on during the night. This saves
time in the morning.
4. Close the water tap.
5. Do not run any processes if the autoclave is left unattended for longer
periods such as overnight.
WATER QUALITY
The sterilizer will give an alarm, “CHECK WATER QA”, if insuffi cient water
quality is used (max. 30 µS/cm). The water quality is checked in each cycle. If
the water alarm is repeated 20 processes, the sterilizer will lock. Correct water
quality will unlock the sterilizer. Change fi lter in the built-in water treatment
system if the alarm reoccurs more than three times.
WEEKLY ROUTINE
NOTE!
Test processes (Bowie&Dick test, Leak test) should be performed as often
as customer internal procedure says. HS33 manufacturer recommends
performing test processes on a regular basis.
1. Open the water tap.
2. Check and clean the drain strainer in the chamber. Use a tooth-brush to
clean. The drain is located in the bottom in the back of the chamber.
3. Verify if door seal did not fell out and is pushed tight into groove at whole
circumference.
4. Close but do not lock the door between cycles.
5. If the sterilizer has been switched off more than a day, launch the fi rst
cycle unloaded in order to heat up the system.
6. Disinfect chamber internally and outside of the sterylizer using disinfecting
agent normally used according to internal procedure for steinless steel
surfaces.
• Turn off the power supply on the equipment at least 6 hours before clean-
ing, whereby the display goes out and the sterilizer gets cold.
• Open the door and remove the chamber rack. If automatic door version,
turn on the power supply and open the door. Immediately and before the
chamber is warmed up, clean the chamber internally using a damp cotton
rag. NOTE, that the chamber heat now is on.
• Make sure and clean (with a toothbrush) strainers on right and left side in
the chamber bottom.
• Clean the outside of the sterilizer using a chlorine-free domestic cleaner.
• Check for any damage on the surface of the door seal.
