PROCESS DESCRIPTION
GENERAL
The packaging material must meet the requirements according to EN
ISO 11607.
The process is divided into three phases:
Phase 1:
Pre-treatment: The pre-treatment drives the air out of the chamber and
goods.
Phase 2:
Sterilization: Inactivating microorganisms.
The sterilization phase lasts for a preset number of minutes for programmed
pressure and temperature.
Phase 3:
Post-treatment: The post-treatment dries the goods.
The post-treatment phase is completed by the air being drawn in through a
sterile fi lter until atmospheric pressure is reached in the chamber.
BOWIE & DICK
Only used for running Bowie & Dick chemical test indicators, which met
requirements according to EN ISO 11140-4.
In our test runs we have used Getinge Assured indicators.
Pin code for the user is required (558).
LEAKAGE TEST
The sterilizer is equipped with a standard leakage test program.
We recommend running regular leakage test programs in the morning.
A pin code for the user is required (558).
HELIX TEST
Local directives and routines determine when and where the Helix test is to
be conducted.
The sterilizer is not equipped with any specifi c Helix test.
A Helix test with an approved chemical indicator must be run in the programs
that are used in the daily work routine.
In our test runs we have used Getinge Assured indicators.
