6 TROUBLESHOOTING
6.1 With D-BEDIX / KOMBI-D-BEDIX / BEDiX
6.1.1 Error display
The control unit recognizes various error situations and conditions and displays them on
the D-BEDIX / KOMBI-D-BEDIX / BEDiX panel by means of an error number. Fatal errors
(door in standstill) will be automatically shown on the display when the installation is swit-
ched on.
6.1.2 Carrying out a Reset
Before carrying out a Reset, make sure to note the error number.
• UponselectionandconrmationbymeansoftheOKkey,thedriveunitautomatically
re-adjusts itself.
Should you not succeed in eliminating the error, please call the after-sales service
(Adress: see chapter 1).
Note:
In order to perform a precise error diagnostic, the after-sales service absolutely
needstoknowtheerror-no.whichisdisplayed!Hereafteryouwillndfurther
instructions about how you can try to eliminate the error, or if it is necessary to
contact the after-sales service.
6.2 With C-BEDIX / KOMBI-C-BEDIX
6.2.1 Error display
The red LED ERROR on the C-BEDIX respectively on the KOMBI-C-BEDIX:
• is permanently lit in the event of a fatal error (door is in standstill)
• ashes ifanerror/warningispending(doorcontinuestobefunctional).
Thereisnoevaluationormoredetailedidenticationofthedisplayederrors;forthispur-
pose, the wireless BEDiX must be used.
6.2.2 Carrying out a Reset
By carrying out a Reset, it may be possible to eliminate the pending error.
Simultaneously actuate the operating mode keys MANUAL and OPEN and
hold them depressed during at least 3 seconds (this causes the door to be
re-adjusted, while maintaining the programmed parameters).
