Brake Pad Options:
Temperature Guidelines:
• Brake Blanking:
• Brake ducts should be taped from the widest
section
• Brake Calliper:
• Temperatures above 210 °C for 30 mins will
cause seals to deteriorate. Seal change advised
• Temperatures above 188 °C indicated more
cooling required
• Brake Disc:
• Target temperature 350-450 °C when measuring
with temp gun in pits
• When measuring with temp paint, green and
orange sections should blow white
General Information:
• All brake discs are floating
• Hardware torqued to 16Nm (3/16” hex key
+ 7/16” spanner)
• Ensure bobbins are square in disc bell slot
• Calliper Torque to 65Nm (14mm socket)
• Bleed nipple torque: (11mm spanner)
• 14Nm Hot
• 18Nm Cold
