Index Search
Index Search will fast-forward
or rewind a specific number of
Index Marks from 1 to 99.
When it reaches the desired
Index Mark, it will play the
tape. Use Index Search when
you know the exact Index
Mark you want to locate.

Open “Search Menu”
From Stop or Play mode, press Search/
Index.
Select “Index Search/Scan”
Press 1.
Enter # of Marks to Search
Enter a number from 1 to 99; i.e. press
“0-5” for “5”.
Search for Index Marks
Press FF or Rewind to begin searching for
Index Marks forwards or backwards. When
the VCR locates the Index Mark, it will play
the tape.
