Removing the Potentiometer
1. Remove shroud, see Removing the
Shroud, page 42.
2. Using a T20 tool, remove three Torx T20
screws holding display.
3. Remove side shroud at control board by
disconnecting the display harness.
4. Disconnect potentiometer cable
connector.
5. Remove potentiometer knob by backing
out the two remaining set screws with a
5/64 inch Allen wrench.
6. Using a 1/2 in. socket, remove
potentiometer by unscrewing retaining
nut from display.
To avoid injury from electrical shock and
moving parts, do not remove interior
motor cover and wait five minutes after
disconnecting power cord for stored
electricity to dissipate.
