Overview
The MicroGuard
®
586 Rated Capacity Indicator/Limiter System is an electronic system used in the operation of
small cranes and boom trucks. The system is designed to provide the crane operator with information to aid in
ensuring safe crane operation. The MicroGuard
®
586 System is simple to operate. This manual describes the
system and its operation.
PROVIDING THE CONTENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED WITHIN THIS MANUAL ARE
CAREFULLY READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND FOLLOWED, THE OPERATOR WILL HAVE A CLEAR
INDICATION OF RATED CAPACITY, APPROACH TO OVERLOAD, AND TWO-BLOCK CONDITIONS;
HOWEVER, IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF THIS SYSTEM CAN RESULT IN SYSTEM MALFUNCTION!
