The sensors must be correctly fitted for the device to
work properly.
If the sensors point to the ground, irregularities and
bumps on the surface may be interpreted as obstacles.
If they point too far up, obstacles will not be detected
at all.
For the sensors to function optimally, the angle
between sensor surface and the road should be 90°
Minimum height
65 cm without use of settings. If a lower value is used,
the sensor angular settings must be adjusted.
Sensor offset
If there is a gap between the rear of the trailer and
the sensor mounting position, independent yellow and
green channel offset settings can be included in the
system using the DIAG+ software.
Maximum offset is 60 cm.
