Horizontal mounted sensor
The sensor shall be mounted at 65cm from the lateral
edge of the trailer, and 35cm from the ground. This is
to avoid detection of other vehicles / obstacles on the
side of the trailer.
If 65 cm is not possible, angular adjustment maybe
required by using the sensor notches.
This orientation is mostly intended for the centre sensor
position on the trailer, 1 x 6° notches for each side.
Drill a 25 mm diameter hole, pass the sensor lead
through with connector from the sensor. Fix the sensor
with two fixing screws onto the trailer. Plug the cable
into the connector from the EB+ Soft Docking cable
loom.
See below, the yellow shaded zone shall be free of any
object when installing the sensor. Refer to drawing
3646140002 for further information.
