9. Checking the vacuum pump
the cam needs to be replaced.
(a) Check the vacuum pump O-ring for signs of rubber aging, deformation and
damage, and replace if necessary.

(b) Apply sealant at the junction of the camshaft bearing cap and cylinder head
(2.5-3mm).
ÿ Tightening torque: 22±2 Nm.
