11 Connection
If you are using a fully automatic stud feeder, connect the compressed
air output of the feed unit to the compressed air input of the stud welding
unit.
Refer here to the operating manual of your feeding unit.
You can set the operating pressure of max. 6 bars with the pressure
reducing valve of the feeding unit. In the lter unit, the compressed air
is cleaned and drained.
11.4 Connecting the Ground Cable
Connect the ground cable
Plug the ground cable into the corresponding socket of the
stud welding unit.
Press in the plug and turn it rmly clockwise (to the right).
Only loosely made connections will result in damage to the plug con-
nectors.
Therefore always check that the plug connector is rmly inserted.
This prevents a poor contact and hence overheating of the plug connectors.
