FITTING THE STEERING WHEEL
1. Put the machine on a flat surface and straighten up the front wheels.
2. Fit the steering wheel (fig. 4A) onto the protruding shaft (fig. 4B) and fasten it with the
screws (fig. 4C) and nuts (fig. 4D) supplied.
3. Tighten. Pull on the steering wheel to make sure it has been locked in place.
FITTING AND ADJUSTING THE SEAT
1. Fit the seat (fig. 5A) on the deck (fig. 5B) with the screws (fig. 5C).
2. Before tightening the 4 screws adjust the forward / backward position of the seat, to best
suit the driver.
SEAT ADJUSTMENT
1. To change the seat position, loosen the four fixing bolts and slide it along the slots.
2. Once you have found the right position, tighten the four screws.
FITTING THE BLADE ENGAGEMENT LEVER
1. Fit the end of the lever (fig. 6A) on the projecting part of the pin (fig. 6B) at the front of the
machine.
2. Fix it all by tightening the screw (fig. 6C) and nut (fig. 6D). Tighten.
ENGINE COVER OPENING
3. For engine cover opening it is necessary to unscrew the handle of choke lever (fig. 7A).
4. Set the height adjustment lever (fig. 7B) to the highest degree “5” and place the gearshift
lever (fig. 7C) into the position “R”.
5. Lift the cover by pulling the front part upwards (fig. 8).
6. Close in reverse order.
FITTING THE BATTERY
1. Fit the battery (fig. 9A) in the housing under the engine cover.
2. Connect the battery connectors to the machine connection leads (fig. 10A).
3. Recharge the battery by following the instructions in the "Battery maintenance".
Never start the engine until the battery is fully charged.
DANGER: Never throw the battery away into the environment. If the battery has to
be changed, follow the disposal procedures laid down by local authorities.
FITTING THE GRASS-CATCHER
1. The grass catcher frame is pre-assebmled.
2. Fit the two tie rods (fig. 11A) and fasten them by using the screws (fig. 11B).
3. Insert the grass catcher onto the holders (fig. 12).
Never use lawn mower without dully mounted grass catcher!
TIRE PRESSURE
Having the correct tire pressure is essential for ensuring that the cutting deck is perfectly horizontal
and thus mows evenly. Make sure there is the right tire inflation pressure (see Specifications).
If the pressure is too low, the hose may slip down on the casing and get damaged. Excessive over
inflation can lead to a tire explosion.
