NOTE: When storing care should be taken to rust-proof the equipment. Using a light
oil or silicone, coat the equipment, especially all metal parts and all moving parts.
STORAGE OF BATTERY
Storing temperature: 0 to 20°C.
Charge the battery before storing. Store battery in dry, dark and thermally stable environment.
In case of long storage we recommend you to dismount, or at least disconnect battery.
In case of long storage we recommend you recharge the battery every 3 months.
Battery must be replaced after one year of use.
TRANSPORT
WARNING! This machine has not been approved for use on public roads. It has to
be used (as indicated by the highway code) in private areas closed to traffic.
When moving the machine, the blades must be disengaged and the cutting deck
raised as high as possible.
Disengage the blades before crossing surfaces other than grass.
Ensure not to bend or damage the cutter when pushing the lawnmower over obstacles.
TRANSPORT ON THE TRAILER
The parking brake is not sufficient to lock the machine during transport. Ensure
you secure the machine firmly to the transporting vehicle.
Warning!!! Let the engine to cool down before transporting the machine.
The fuel tank must be empty. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may ignite.
1. Empty the fuel tank before transporting the machine.
2. Empty the petrol tank with a suction pump. Start the engine and let it run until it has used
up all remaining petrol and stalls.
3. Close the fuel cap firmly.
4. Turn the engine switch and fuel valve (if equipped) to the off or stop position.
5. Let the engine to cool down before transporting.
6. Take care not to drop or strike the machine when transporting.
7. Tie down the machine securely in an upright position while transporting.
8. The machine is heavy and can cause serious crushing injuries. Be extra cautious when it is
loaded on or unloaded from a vehicle or trailer.
9. Use an approved trailer to transport the machine.
10. To secure the machine on the trailer, at least two approved tension belts and four wedge
shaped wheel blocks should be used.
11. Engage the parking brake and tie the tension belts around stable parts on the machine, e.g.
frame or rear wagon.
12. Secure the machine by tensioning the belts towards the back and the front of the trailer
respectively.
13. Place the wheel blocks in front of and behind the rear wheels.
14. Check and abide by local traffic regulations before transporting or driving the machine on
any road.
