Refuel only outdoors.
Wipe up spills immediately.
1. Place an approved gasoline container below the carburetor (fig. 46A), and use a funnel to
avoid spilling fuel.
2. Remove the drain bolt (fig. 46B), then move the fuel valve lever to the ON position (if it is
equipped).
3. After all the fuel has drained into the container, reinstall the drain bolt and washer (fig. 46C).
Tighten the drain bolt securely.
ENGINE ADJUSTMENTS
NOTE: Do not change in any way the rated speed of the engine (carburetor side or
regulator side).
Your engine was adjusted in the factory and the non-respect of the homologation speed engine
could be dangerous for your safety and others safety. If the motor settings is changed in any way,
the warranty will be cancelled.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Remedy
With the key on
«START» the
starter motor
does not run
Turn the key to «STOP» and look for the cause of the problem:
flat battery recharge battery
fuse blown replace fuse (10A)
bad earthling to the engine or the
frame
check connections of black earth leads
earth connections of the micro
switches disconnected
check connections
badly earthed starter motor check earth connections
you are not ready for starting
check that the conditions allowing the start
are met
With the key on
«START» the
starter motor
runs but the
engine does not
start
faulty fuel supply
check the level in the tank
check the throttle lever adjustment
check fuel filter and wiring of the fuel
faulty ignition
check that spark plug caps are firmly fitted
check that the electrodes are clean and have
the correct gap
The engine stops
Turn the key to «STOP» and look for the cause of the problem:
flat battery recharge battery
badly connected battery (poor contact) check connections
earth connections of the micros
witches disconnected
check connections
engine badly earthed check engine earth connection
