Adjust tube pressure
➜ Turn adjustment knob clockwise till
inner side of wedge aligns with mark
on adjustment scale between gures
1 and 2.
✓ Tube pressure is set.
➜ Repeat with next cassette.
Demount cassette
➜ Push cassette downwards and pull at
clamping side to open hook.
➜ Move cassette upwards while holding
onto clamping side to release hook.
➜ Unhook other side of cassette.

If tube pressure was already adjusted for tube size in previous
operations, adjustment of pressure does not have to be repeated.
Optimize tube pressure
Certain applications require adjustment of tube pressure, for instance to:
▪ vary ow for certain tube size
▪ reduce variation in ow caused by system pressure
▪ extend life time of tubes
➜ Switch rotation on.
➜ Turn adjustment knob counterclockwise to move wedges outwards to higher scale.
✓ Tube pressure is reduced to insufcient.
➜ Slowly adjust by turning knob clockwise till ow and pressure t your requirements.
Secure cassettes
Multi-channel pump heads can be operated with reduced number of cassettes. Reduced
number of cassettes have to be secured to prevent moving.
Both support rods are equipped with an
O-ring to prevent cassettes from moving.
➜ Push O-rings on both sides away from
pump head.
➜ Mount required number of cassettes.
➜ Push 0-Ringe on both sides against
front cassette.
✓ Cassettes are secured.

Tube extension
Optional PTFE tube couplings are available for extension. Bulk hose goods can be
connected with these couplings.
Components:
▪ 2x Sleeve nuts
▪ 1x Screw joint
▪ 2x3 Pcs. O-rings
▪ 2x Ferrules

➜ Insert tubes into sleeve nuts.
➜ Push 3 O-rings over each tube.
➜ Screw sleeve nuts hand-tight onto
screw joints.

➜ Trim tube ends diagonally.
➜ Insert tubes into sleeve nuts.
➜ Trim tube ends horizontally.
➜ Push ferrules with at side onto tube.
➜ Insert tubes with ferrule tip into screw
joints at both sides.
➜ Screw sleeve nuts hand-tight onto
screw joints.

Cassettes and tubes: „Cassette medium”
„Cassette medium” is suitable for multi-channel pump head C 8
only!
➜ Mount suitable tubes to cassettes.
(see chapter „Technical data, Table tubes”).
➜ Mount Cassettes as described under “Cassette small”.
➜ Pull slightly at both ends of tube to prevent an eventual loop.
➜ Set tube pressure via adjustment knob between gures 3 and 4 of scale.
