Setting the Hitch for Position 1 - Dual
Tractor Tires
For NT 78, NT60 and NT44
- Remove the cylinder pin from the
base of the cylinder (1).
- Remove the locking bolt and locknut
(2) from the swing arm pin.
- Remove the swing arm pin (3).
- Rotate the swing arm outward.
- Remove the carriage bolts and
locknuts (5) holding the insert (4) in
the storage position.
- Remove the insert (4) from the
storage position.
- Install the insert (4) into the slot in the
swing arm.
- Fasten the insert with the 2
carriage bolts and locknuts (5).
- Move the swing arm to the hole near
the hitch arm.
- Install the swing arm pin (3) and
fasten with the locking bolt and
locknut (2).
- Move the cylinder base to the lug (1)
near the hitch lock.
- Fasten with the cylinder pin.
- Adjust the hydraulic hoses as needed.
On the NT44 Only:
- Remove the hitch wedge by loosening
the nuts (1) and sliding the wedge out
from the front frame bar.
