Mobilizing
the Patient
The X-ray cassette can be installed on the left or the right of the head section, once the
corresponding siderail has been lowered.
To avoid any risk of infection, the zip fastener of the cover must be closed after
each use. If necessary, the X-ray cassette pouch can be cleaned and dried using
the standard disinfection methods.
Evacuation Handles*
The mattress, depending on the model, can be fitted with evacuation handles. They
are intended to facilitate the evacuation of a patient but only during an emergency
situation.
Daily precautions
The four evacuation handles are located on each side of the mattress (See “Viewing
the Whole Device” page 10).
