Because measured values become difficult to read near the point at which the display switches, the resolu-
tion is lowered by one digit.
Example: When changing from 1.0000 kHz to 999 Hz, values that would have been displayed as 999.00 Hz
will be shown as 0.9990 kHz. When the frequency falls to 990 Hz or below, the display will switch
to 990.00 Hz.
