To detach a SASPCIcards from the riser card:
1. Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the top or bottom screw on
the lip at the edge of the longer side of the riser card bracket, as
applicable to replace the top or bottom SAS PCIcard.
2. While holding the SAS PCI card by the middle of its long edge, gently
but firmly pull the PCI card away from the riser card so that:

The pins on the PCI card come straight out of the PCIconnector on
the riser card
¡
The ports on the PCIcard slide out of the slot in the riser card
bracket
