Each server module has these LEDs:
The table below lists the LED states that indicate issues with hardware
components. The table describes the action to take in each case.
LEDs Meaning Action
On an individual enclosure:
Enclosure fault lit solid
and
PCMfaults not lit
and
IOMfaults not lit
The enclosure itself
is not functioning
properly.
Using the rocker switches on the power and
cooling modules in the enclosure, power both
power and cooling modules off. Replace the
enclosure. Power the power and cooling
modules back on.
On an individual enclosure:
PCM fault lit solid
The power and
cooling module is
not functioning
properly.
Replace the problem power and cooling
module.
On an individual enclosure:
Power and cooling module
DCOK or ACOK off
The power and
cooling module is
not operating
normally.
Replace the problem power and cooling
module.
On an individual enclosure:
IOMfault lit solid
The I/O module is
not functioning
properly.
Replace the problem I/O module.
SMfault blinking The server module
is not functioning
properly.
Press and hold the power button on the
problem server module until the server
module powers off. Replace the server module.
Press and release the power button on the
server module to power the module on.
On an individual enclosure:
Enclosure drive fault lit solid
One or more data or
database drives are
not functioning
properly.
Replace the blinking drives.
