6. When the HCPSOS Operating System installation menu appears, press
Escape.
You have approximately three minutes to do this. If you wait too long,
the server module boots using the installed OS. In this case, you need to
reboot the server module and try again. To reboot the server module if
necessary, press Ctrl+Alt+Del.
7. At the boot prompt, enter:
wipe.console
8. In response to the confirming message, enter
y
.
The OSinstaller wipes the drives. This process can take from five
minutes to one hour, depending on the number of drives in the S30
Node. While the installer is wiping the drives, it reports its progress in
the system console, and the light on the USB flash drive either blinks or
is lit solid.
When all the drives have been wiped, the light on the USBflash drive
turns off, and the server module reboots.
9. When the light on the USBflash drive turns off, remove the drive from
the USBport. You can do this while the server module is rebooting.
