1)
Check the oil seal of the crankcase cover, replace if dam-
aged. Remove the oil seal and discard it. Install a new oil
seal securely.
2)
Apply grease to the lip of the oil seal.
3)
If the oil pressure switch removed, install the oil pressure
switch.
Protect the threads by applying sealing tape
1.5
to
2
turns or applying the liquid sealant, and tighten the oil
pressure switch
to
the specified torque using a torque
wrench.
Do
not overtighten the adapter
to
avoid dam-
aging the threads of the crankcase cover.
