Power Requirements
The device requires an external 24 VDC power supply. In order to meet EN54-20 standard, the aspirating
detector shall be supplied by a power supply complying with European Standard EN54-4. Operational Power
Supply range is 18-30V. The device monitors the power supply and when supply voltage drops below 21V the
device gives a LOW POWER alert (POWER LED shows steady RED). Moreover, the device has a brown-out
circuit, which operates nominally at 17V. In this condition the device switches to POWER OUT OF RANGE
state and activates fault relays. When the device is turned off by brown-out hardware circuit, the fault relays
remains activated.
