Fan
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 16).
2. Remove the display (see Display on page 18).
3. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (1).
4. Remove the three Phillips screws that secure the fan (2), and then remove the fan from the computer
(3).
To install the fan, reverse the removal procedures.
