To set up and connect the equipment
Instructions for HP 54645D
These instructions apply only to the HP 54645D Mixed-Signal Oscilloscope.

Turn on the test equipment and the oscilloscope. Let them warm up
for 30 minutes before beginning the test.

Set up the function generator.

Set up the function generator to provide a DC offset voltage at the
Main Signal output.

Disable any AC voltage to the function generator output, and enable
the high-voltage output.

Monitor the function generator DC output voltage with the
multimeter.

Using the 8-by-2 test connector and BNC cable assembly, connect
digital channels D0-D7 to one side of the BNC Tee. Connect the
D0-D7 ground lead to the ground side of the 8-by-2 connector.

Using a BNC-banana cable, connect the voltmeter to the other side of
the BNC Tee.

Connect the BNC Tee to the Main Signal output of the function
generator.
